Innovative Multimedia Solutions from SES Space & Defense

Under a 5-year agreement, SES Space & Defense is set to enhance the delivery of multimedia programs through GN for the United States Agency for Global Media.

Through meticulous coordination of satellite and terrestrial content, SES Space & Defense asserts its capability to broadcast over 4,000 hours of weekly programming to an audience of approximately 215 million individuals across 100 countries worldwide.

SES Space & Defense underscores that their services will encompass shortwave amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, and television broadcasts. Additionally, the solutions will include the broadcast multiplexing, Internet connectivity, and round-the-clock monitoring. The functionalities are designed to adhere to international standards while maintaining flexibility for swift adjustments to meet program requirements.

These innovative solutions are tailored for esteemed organizations such as Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Office of Cuban Broadcasting, Radio Free Asia, and the Middle East Broadcasting Network. The overarching goal is to facilitate the global distribution of multimedia content in both HD and SD.

President and CEO of SES Space & Defense in his speech focused attention on that this contract signifies a commitment to delivering modern satellite communication capabilities. In addition, he added that the integrated solutions aim to continuously enhance the quality of multimedia content.
